12 Things You Didn't Know About Miranda Lambert

1. At one point, the Lambert family was homeless. They
were forced to live in the farmhouse of her uncle’s property.
2. Miranda's father was furious when she got her first tattoo. She now has more then one tattoo.
3. In 6th grade, Miranda was voted most
likely to be a country singer.
4. Miranda is obsessed with coffee and cannot start
her day without it.
5. Miranda Lambert did not get good grades in high school but was still able to graduate early to pursue her dream.
6. Miranda is married to Blake Shelton. The Shelton’s first dance at their wedding was
to Neal McCoy’s ‘No Doubt About it.’
7. Miranda Lambert has her own line of wine called
Red 55.
8. Miranda was glad she did not win Nashville Star
because the winner had to make their first record within a couple of weeks of winning and she wasn’t
ready for that.
9. She collects salt and pepper shakers.
10. Miranda appeared on NBC's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on a
2012 episode titled "Father's Shadow."
11. Miranda Lambert enjoys barrel racing.
12. Miranda hates beets, spicy food, and swimming in the ocean.
When Miranda Lambert got her first tattoo, her father Rick was
livid. She wrote about the situation in her song Heart Like Mine. "Daddy
cried when he saw my tattoo, said he loved me anyway," she sings. The two
eventually worked it out and Lambert's tattoo of two Colt .45 pistols with
wings on her left forearm has become her default logo. But it's not the only
tattoo she has. She also had the logo of her organization MuttNation
Foundation tattooed on her foot in 2011.
